The «Golden Stool» literary club in AUCA has proposed its representative from Kyrgyzstan for the 80th Congress of the PEN-club
From September 24th to the 26th, Bishkek will host the 80th Congress of the PEN-club. Young author Kasim Bazil will represent Kyrgyzstan in this literary forum; he was selected from the “Golden Stool” literary club of American University of Central Asia. Such a large-scale event will be held for the first time not only in Bishkek, but also in the whole CIS. Kyrgyzstan is very proud of being the host for this event.

American University of Central Asia is actively involved in the organization of the First World Nomad Games
From 9th to 14th September, 2014, a unique event will be held in Kyrgyzstan, aiming to improve the country’s image. The opening ceremony of the World Nomad Games was hosted at the hippodrome in Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul region.

Google workshops at AUCA
This event will take place on 9th and 10th of September 2014 in AUCA and the participants will get an opportunity to take part in a number of presentations and workshops covering Google’s Product, as well as an overview of how Google works.

Investing in the future of AUCA
Professor for the MBA program and consultant with the Tian Shan Policy Center at AUCA, Seth Fearey is donating $2,000 to AUCA.  $1,000 will go to the Tian Shan Policy Center where he has been working this summer.  The other $1,000 goes to the construction of the new AUCA campus.
