For the first time, AUCA’s Writing and Academic Resource Center will offer free, one-on-one peer tutoring in the Kyrgyz language. Students who are interested in lessons can book a tutoring session by going to the WARC’s website and signing in using their AUCA account details.

AUCA students from Master of Arts in Sociology Manas Shaketaev, Nurzhan Moldokanova, and Meerim Egemberdieva spending their semester at Otto von Guericke University.

They discussed collaboration between AUCA and the Indian Embassy, and desire of the university to increase the recruitment of Indian students.

In three days, the course will cover dozen of topics from a big data review to machine learning principles.

Bilateral cooperation possibilities between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of higher education, the prospects of concluding a bilateral agreement on the recognition of university diplomas were discussed during the conversation.

Such an agreement with MITx MicroMasters Program in Data, Economics and Development Policy (DEDP) will help AUCA’s Economics Department enhance teaching innovation and strengthen its curricula in the area of evidence-based development policy analysis.

Erica received her undergraduate degree in History of Art & Architecture from Harvard University and her MA in Buddhist Art History & Conservation from The Courtauld Institute of Art in London. She told us a little about herself and her experience in writing and teaching.
